Summary

The Michelson measurement of the speed of light is the first well excepted and highly accurate measurement of the speed of light.

Setup

The method of measurement I used was the Foucault-Michelson Method. It involes using a spinning mirrior and known path lenghts to determine the speed of light.

Here is a picture of my first setup. The picture is not me. It is my friend Justin.

A picture of the setup
I found that the path lenght was to short for accurate measurement so I moved the experiment to a long hall way.

If you want to know more here is a link to my paper on measuring the speed of light using the Foucault-Michelson Method I only request that if you use my paper give me credit and link to www.phancyphysicist.com.
Thanks.
